This blog is a place for wives, girlfriends, significant others, and anyone else stuck to a chef to come together and chirp to each other about how to deal with the nonsense that goes along with being the wife of a chef. I was struggling to live with a ghost of a husband who I never saw until I met two other chefs' wives that saved me. It was then that I realized there must be more who need love and support too, right?

This morning before getting out of bed at 6:02 a.m., I pulled the covers over my husband and said: "Good Morning".
In response: "I love you. I'll make sure the runners don't touch your risotto."
This cracks me up! I once dated a sports reporter that said to me (when he'd apparently fallen asleep mid-conversation in bed): "Babe... a couple of years down the line, you'll have a gold glove and two batting titles." LOL.
Anyway, no more sports guy for me. I have just recently started dating a chef myself. I suppose I should expect a mumble about lambchops very soon...
Love your blog,
