In MASTERING THE ART OF FRENCH EATING journalist Ann Mah blends food, travel, and gastronomic history as she embarks on a journey to reinvent her dream of living in Paris.

I would love to master the art of southern food. I would spend a year in Georgia. Southern food has been my influence since moving from Nebraska. There is a ton of food I have not mastered. Like grits. They are delicious, if made properly. I think this would require me to live in a backroads country farm and I am ok with it!
