I would love to tell you what I ate, but I totally forget after I'm swimming in ecstasy from such a good meal. We didn't see a menu either-they just sent things. My favorite new dish was the urchin-so tasty and it popped in my mouth. My all time fav is the egg caviar for obvious reasons. And I don't even like eggs!

I'm horrible at remembering meals-especially tasting menus. It all seems to come together as one formal dining experience. When I ate at wd~50 they broought me a menu to look at while the courses came. When I've got my own place to worry about I'll be doing the same. I like having the menu at the table the whole time.Hilary Batteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17379733128452993947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3648374498406854611.post-63301986319340175812007-10-25T13:17:00.000-05:002007-10-25T13:17:00.000-05:00Oh I forgot. She was the best captain in the years I have been dining out. I hope she is still there next year. I will be asking for her again. (She doesn't work lunch-per the captain I had last time).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3648374498406854611.post-38672296614685191942007-10-25T13:12:00.000-05:002007-10-25T13:12:00.000-05:00Ohhh! It is just heavenly. I call Jean Georges (the restaurant) my sanctuary that I escape to every now and again to get away from the craziness. At least now you can understand why I am such a JGV foodie .

You must go to Le Bernardin for your next occasion. If you and yours love seafood...this is it. It's a tad more formal but still the service is still friendly.

Please, tell me what you two had and what your favorite dishes were.

Yeah, Johhny I is the bomb. He make wonderful eye candy as well :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
