Last year's dessert at Spice Market. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday-that was so very nice of you all. I'll be dining at A voce tomorrow night with my BFF chefwife, J. Then DB Bistro on Sunday with my chefhusband, Erik. I'll tell you all about the DB burger later!

yay! Happy B-Day! I always hold events at DB Bistro (I'm a corporate event planner). Was there on Wednesday night - and I was so under guarantee that the maitre'd Ari (go find him - tell him what you & CH are about - he's great) hooked me and the chef up afterwards. Free champagne, amuse bouche, scallops, frog legs - the works. I've had the burger many times. It is the size of your head. You and Erik can share one as an app. I PROMISE! yummo! Have a great time.

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for your b-day weekend of dining. A Voce was so delicious when I ate there with my chef and the decor is strange, but really elegant.
Last year I had dinner with 8 friends at my chef's restaurant, but I've decided that for my 26th - next Friday - I want cheap and delicious.
But have a blast glamming it up!
I liked A Voce. Only went there once or twice, but I remember having a good time. Great place to go with a girlfriend! Have lots of fun and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
